It happens to all of us, so it is a common problem.
And like every common problem, it has a solution.
Get out an old pair of jeans.
If you are trying a rip for the first time, settle for an old pair of jeans.
Ripped jeans looks best when they have that familiar, veryworntodeath look about them.
To get it, use a hard metal sponge and scrub your jeans until they begin to wear thin.
Do not rip them yet you only want a few marks and scratches to get an older, cooler look.
Alternatively, u se pumice stones.
Branded jeans are given that familiar, wornout look by stonewashing them.
Rub this over your jeans until they seem aged enough.
Never try to rip your jeans when you have them on.
While it may work, it may also turn out very wrong and you could hurt yourself.
Use a cheese grater.
Rub a cheese grater over your marks or, alternatively, a sharp knife.
Continue the process until you can see the fabric starting to rip.
The hole will grow bigger and bigger as more threads and strings start to separate.
Stop when you have the rip size you desire.
Remember that you are dealing with rough and sharp objects.
Be careful when ripping your jeans.
There are a number of other things that can replace metallic sponges, pumice stones, cheese graters and knives.
A lot of people are known to use crotchet needles, scissors, sandpapers, cutters, blades and razors to rip their jeans just the way they want to.
In the end, it all depends on you and what you are comfortable with.
Have fun ripping your own jeans!
